It's a bit late but here it is, big news is that we're doing 5 shows with Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) in QLD and NSW in May as a little warm up (or is that a big warm up?) for the album launch tour...
Album launch tour you say? Yep, mixing's begun and mastering has been booked, release date will be July 5th 2008 and the tour dates will be up very soon
Love, HCGx
With tracking all finished and mixing slated for April we're climbing out of the bunker we've been recording in... We'll be shaking the cobwebs out of our collective hairfarms and treading the boards for the first time in months. You'll find us at Candy's Apartment supporting McQueen (UK) on Sunday April 6th then The Annandale supporting The Supersuckers (US) on Friday April 18th.
Our little jaunt to melbourne was mostly succesful with 80% of the album tracked, we're just tying up a studio in Sydney to finish it off then mix and master time.
Unfortunately due to the ways of the world it looks like the record will be out in April now, we're sorry!!!
Thanks to all who came to the Gaelic the other night for our show with Hardcore Superstar and for those of you in Northern NSW we're playing at Armidale Uni on 15/2
We'll have a paypal account set up in the next week or so for merch too if you're keen for a Tshirt, don't forget the EPs are available at all stores and online via iTunes and www.waterfrontrecords.com

Heya All, hope you had a good festive season and holidays?
We're currently sitting at week two of the album recording, we've got about a dozen songs half finished and Oscar's doing guitars as I type!
If you'd care to check out some videos of our general studio antics go to

The gig at Transit Bar in Canberra for the BMA Christmas Party was incorrectly listed as 15th December and should have been Friday 14th December.
We've been out on the road playing for a few weeks so the update's a little late but big thankyou to everyone who came out to see us on the Goldie (cheers Jessie) and in Brisbane. Good times were had all round and many beers disappeared. Thanks also of course to our Wollongong and Sydney crews for coming out to the shows in NSW too.
Next stop is Adelaide for an all ages and 18+ show (see gig guide) then Melbourne for a couple with our last show of the tour in sunny Canberra.
In other news, the new songs for the album are coming along just swimmingly, we think you're going to love this record!!!
We've finally got a new Tshirt design too which is available at the show plus will soon be available from the website/myspace too
love, HCGx
It's Movember and the touring's started in fine form with two shows in Queensland on the weekend, thanks to all who made it too the shows and drank with us or took us out on the town.

Heya All, how's rock 'n' roll treating you? Because we've been missing it!! So we're back on the road, warming up with LA Guns then hitting the ol' 12 seater van and travelling the countryside till christmas time!!
In other exciting news, we'll be recording our album in January down in Melbourne town with Matt Voigt, expect a shiny silver disc from us in March...
Or maybe a little bonus on the tour, who can tell...
Love, HCGx
Just a quick one to let you know what we've been up too over the last month.
Robbie's been off around Europe and Mo's been to Vegas while Jonny and Oscar have been well, going to work and other menial things like that.
However in between jetsetting and paying bills we've now got almost enough songs to satisfy both us and hopefully all of you and with a couple more producer types to talk too before we make our final decision on where, when and who we record the album with it's getting closer to seeing the light of day. We're pegging a March release for it at this stage.
For all of you who've been clamouring for a gig from us, don't worry we're coming!
First up are the LA Guns shows in late October (see the website/myspace for details) and then we'll get back to basically everywhere over November and early December with a couple of ALL AGES shows thrown in for good measure for all our younger fans.
We'll hopefully have the tour locked away in the next couple of weeks and let you know all the dates ASAP.
HCGx
Robbie’s just wandered back in to the country from his little jaunt to Europe so we’ll be hitting the rehearsals hard to gear up towards recording ASAP. Seriously, promise, we’re recording an album.
Yes, we’re a little quiet on the gig front but the next big one’s are in October supporting LA Guns in Sydney and Melbourne plus an extra Melbourne show at trusty Dingdong (check the gigs page for details).
Just keep on checking back, there’s going to be a whole bunch more shows announced soon too…
It’s time for a little holiday from live rock ‘n’ roll for us for the next month or two, we’re talking to producers and finishing songs then we’ll hopefully hit the studio in September to record our little ablum.
We’ve already started looking at a final tour for the year though so stay tuned (and we’ve got a couple of big shows confirmed that we’ll let ya know about just as soon as we’re able)
To keep you sated until we hit the road again we’re going to update our photos, throw a few new demos up for you to listen too and anything else we can find that may be entertaining!
And finally, a big thankyou to Airbourne for a fucking awesome tour and many a fantastic BBQ
Joel, Ryan, Streety, Rhoadsy, Mick, Paul and Evo a big GUTSY to all of you!!
Well, yeah we changed our mind when Airbourne invited us out with bribes of beer, bbq and good looking women so we’re now midway through a run of shows around the country (check the gigs link)
But don’t despair as we’re writing and demoing new tracks in between dates for our ‘chinese democracy’ of an album!!!
Thanks to all of you that come out for our tour with Devil Rock Four, we had an amazing bunch of shows and damn they’re a hard act to follow. We’ve still got a few of the split 7” (featuring Josephine) left too so keep an eye out at the merch desk for it at our shows this month
Our run of dates with Paul Stanley starts Friday in the Gong and we’ve got a bunch of All Ages shows this month for our Sydney fans (check the gig guide for them)
After this run, we’re heading back in to the studio to finish demoing for the album before the Come Together festival
If you need a live fix in the meantime, check out www.youtube.com/hellcityglamours and www.vettivision.com for some interviews, live footage and the white trash filmclip too!!!
Love, HCGx
We’ve been bouncing around studios writing and recording like crazy and so far we’ve got five songs down, Long Time Gone; One Night Only; I’m Not Here; Hard Times and Quarter Past You. We hope to have a few more before the start of our little tour around the land with Devil Rock Four in March (check the gig page for dates)
And of course the big news is we’re doing three shows with Paul Stanley!!! Hell yeah, tickets are on sale now from www.ticketet.com
HCGx
January’s drawn to a close and we’d like to say thankyou to everyone who came out to all the shows on the east coast over the last four weeks and also thanks to Mink for sharing the stage with us on a bunch of ‘em.
After our last show on February 1st (Gasworks at Parramatta) we’re putting our heads down and guitars up to finish writing all the new stuff we’ve been working on in between shows for the last few months. We’re booked to record demos early March so we’ll post a couple of em up for your enjoyment when they’re done.
We also recorded/filmed our Candy’s Apartment gig on the 27/1 so who knows what that may entail, DVD perhaps…
The next shows will be a full east coast and a bit tour starting in Adelaide (that’s right, we’re finally coming back) co-headlining with our good friends from Melbourne, The Devil Rock Four www.myspace.com/thedevilrockfour It all kicks off mid march, keep an eye out for the dates.
Then April brings a couple of supports with some fella by the name of… Paul Fucking Stanley…
Well, we’ve just had a crazy weekend sharing the stage with Airbourne over 3 massive nights in Sydney and Newcastle. Great band, great crew and we couldn’t have had more fun with them and of course all the fans that came to see us both play. Thanks!!!
On the horizon we’ve got a few shows coming up for the rest of the year (check the gig guide) including an all ages show in Sydney. Then we’ll take a week or so off and start playing again first weekend of ’07. No rest for the wicked!!
Now we know everyone’s wondering when we’re going to do an album and at this stage we’re aiming for late March/early April (but don’t quote us on it!). We’ve got a bunch of new songs we’re working on, some harder and faster, some bluesy and some with those sexy grooves we love to play.
